2. Basement Waterproofing

Site had moderately high water table. Used bentonite waterproofing membrane + drainage system around basement perimeter. Specified premium Sika system with 15-year warranty.

3. Smart Home Integration

Owner wanted Crestron-grade automation but on Control4 budget. Solution: hybrid system with Control4 main brain + selective Crestron modules in key areas (theater, master suite). Saved ~30% vs full Crestron.

4. Cement Strike Mid-Build

Cement market disruption added 4 weeks delay. Pre-ordered next cement batch + alternate brand approved (DG Khan as backup to Lucky). Limited impact through proactive supply management.
